George Washington Greene Papers, 1893-1912

His papers consists of his correspondence from Canton, China, and Bluemont, North Carolina, 1893 to 1911 and a letter to Mrs. Greene, 1912; a photograph of G.W. Green, and a framed portrait; biographical items on Greene, family history notes, a biography of Greene, and a genealogical lineage chart; and a polemical pamphlet (1893). Correspondents include his son Felix Bailey Greene; his two daughters Anna [Mrs. S.R. Moore] and Pansy [Mrs. P.H. Anderson]; his son-in-law Sam R. Moore, and William Robert Gwaltney (1834-1907).
